RIGWHEELS was founded in 2025 by Futoshi Ito (CEO) and Saravana Bhava (COO)
Both Futoshi Ito and Saravana Bhava are entrepreneurs who have worked together for 8 years in the IT Industry.
How It All Began
The decision to enter the toy industry was profoundly influenced by a business trip to Tokyo, Japan. Futoshi Ito's country, in February 2024. Saravana Bhava was genuinely astonished by the sheer variety, infrastructure, and sophisticated ecosystem dedicated to high-quality toys there. That sparked an interest in making toys in India.

As a father of three, our CEO, Futoshi Ito, recognized a stark contrast between the high-quality toys of his native Japan and the options available in India. Frustrated by a market dominated by imports lacking warranties or long-term support, Futoshi launched a mission to bring Japanese standards to Indian manufacturing. By building a new ecosystem—producing world-class toys locally that offer the reliability and excellence every child deserves.

Our Journey
Our journey defied our initial expectations. Manufacturing in India—especially complex electronic toys with moving parts—proved to be an immense challenge. It required relentless R&D and extraordinary patience to move from a concept to a perfected final version.
Transitioning from the IT industry to the manufacturing sector presented a steep learning curve. From mastering the initial design phase to sourcing specialized vendors for precision job work, every step was a challenge that required us to rethink everything we knew about production.
We are proud to be the first mainstream manufacturer to produce electronic toys entirely within India. By embedding a distinct Indian identity into every product, we aren’t just making toys—we are creating a world-class play experience designed specifically for the Indian child.
